I thought the best way to open our new blog would be to tell you all a little bit about me and my mummy. My name is Lily-Sue, but my mummy always calls me Munchkin, so I guess that will stick for a while now! I am nearly 3 years old now, and my mummy thought that this blog may well assist her through my 'Terrible Twos' ... I have no idea what she is taking about!!!!
I was born in September 2009 in an Essex hospital after subjecting my mummy to a roller-coaster of a pregnancy. She says that I was worth every minute of it, but her mind may change in time!!!!!
When I was born, I made my mummy and daddy work hard for their parental titles when I didn't take milk from mum at all for nearly a week and became quite hungry. I can't tell you why I didn't take it - I just didn't. I know mummy was really upset about it, but daddy cracked open that first carton of Formula and I was hooked!!! I flourished in my new surroundings, getting to know my mum and dad and my new four legged friend, Alfie the family dog.
I think I made Alfie a bit nervous at first! He would copy my crying noises and sulk under the stairs. But before long, he could be found sitting comfortably yet aware at the foot of my travel cot in the lounge, only lifting his head when I made a sound! We're best of friends now!
Daddy is a photographer, and so is my grandad. They're REALLY good ones too, and so I have had some lovely photos taken of me in the last 2 years.
Only problem now is, I rarely sit still for long enough for them to take good pictures of me! They have to catch me first! I really like to test their photography skills, me!!! I do stop occasionally though ... usually in the most inconvenient places ...
I am very much loved by my family and love doing fun things with them. My nanna and grandad spoil me rotten and I love seeing them lots and lots. They have spent a lot of time helping my mummy and daddy in their quest to make sure that I grow up to be a beautiful and polite little girl, and I think they're doing alright!
This is me now. My mummy and daddy say that I'm the most beautiful little girl in the world. But they've got to say that ... right?!
Thank you for taking the time to read all about me and my story so far xxx
