My name is Lily-Sue, but my mummy calls me Munchkin (or 'Munch' for short!) I am 8 years old, and this is where my mummy will help me write all about all the fun things we do together. I hope you enjoy reading about the adventures of my mummy and me, Munchkin, with the occasional appearance from the siblings - Beastie and Plumlet.

Tell Me Mummy ...?

Welcome to our Linky!

Here's what it's all about ...

I'm Munch. I write a lot of this blog with mummy. She actually says it's my blog, and that she's just looking after it for me. So mummy thought it would be a good idea to give me my own little section of the blog. A bit that really is ALL about ME!!

Now, I'm nearly 5. I am starting big school on the 8th September, 2014. So it's only natural that I ask questions, right?

Well, I ask A LOT of questions!

Mummy and daddy say I'm "at that age", whatever that means!

Well, I like asking questions. I especially like it when a question leads to another question, which leads to another ... you know the ones? Those questions that keep mummy and daddy talking for ages! I like the answers they give ... most of the time. Sometimes their answers are confusing as I watch them struggling to find the right words to explain the facts to me, sometimes their answers are really interesting and I kind of 'get it', and sometimes their answers are pretty magical and far fetched ... I think they're the answers mummy and daddy make up to make me smile!

Whatever the question, I love learning! I try to apply new knowledge to other situations, and then sometimes the answers make even more sense, and sometimes things just get a little weird! But it's all learning!

Well, mummy thought it would be a good idea to record some of my best questions here each week, and this is where our linky idea was created!

Here is how it works ...

Each week, mummy will choose my best question of the past 7 days.

She will publish my question in a post.

She will also record the answer that she or daddy gave me, including any resources they might have used to back up their explanation.

She will also include the answers some others may have given to the same question (including links to their blogs if applicable)

She will end the post with the real answer to the question. You know, the scientific stuff. The stuff you find on Wiki, etc, with words that I wouldn't understand!

The idea is, if your little ones ask you a big question, or a funny one, even an embarrassing one (we like those!!), blog about it and link up. Tell us how you tackled the answer, if you did! Even if you didn't know how to answer it, link up and maybe someone will comment on your post with some fantastic answer inspiration and tips! It would be lovely if you could add the badge to your post too which will be available at the bottom of each week's post! This linky will go live every Friday.

Hopefully, eventually, we will have a lovely list of those questions that we all ask and some ideas on how to answer them.

Let's see if you parents can ever silence our questions when we say ...
