Hello!

My name is Lily-Sue, but my mummy calls me Munchkin (or 'Munch' for short!) I am 7 years old, and this is where my mummy will help me write all about all the fun things we do together. I hope you enjoy reading about the adventures of my mummy and me, Munchkin, with the occasional appearance from the siblings - Beastie and Plumlet.

Fly me to the Sunshine ...!

... All offers welcome ...!

We're not particularly well travelled here in The Munchkin Patch. Mr Munchkin and I have never been on holiday together in our 8 years of being together, and don't see the opportunity coming to us any time soon. Not now that we have a three year old Munchkin and a nearly 6 month old Beastie Boo to consider in our plans! It takes a week of planning just to get us all out of the door for one day out, goodness knows how we'd manage to organise ourselves enough for a week or two away! However, if the opportunity arose ... I'm sure I'd find a way!

The first time I ever stepped foot on a plane, I was 15 years old. I joined my mum, dad, younger brothers and my great auntie Pat for our first foreign holiday as a family together, as we flew the lengthy distance to Orlando, USA for a two week holiday of a lifetime. Two weeks of enjoying all of the world famous theme parks, trying to make sure we were able to fit everything in before we flew home again. It was a holiday that I will never forget and it has made me promise myself that, in a few years time, I want to be able to share these memories with Munchkin and Beastie Boo by taking them there to see it all for themselves. Now, as I said, this was when I was 15 years old, so quite a while ago! Since then, I have flown to Turkey twice, but that is it. See - not very well travelled at all! Believe me, I would LOVE a holiday right now!

I know that, if we were lucky enough to come into lots of money, Mr Munchkin would surprise us with a lovely family holiday. We've often talked about it. I just know he would book something up and whisk us all away somewhere lovely, last minute ... (he doesn't like waiting for things!!) This would be lovely. It's been a tough year and a battery recharge would really sort me out right now! He's not a 'High Street Shopper' (he hates shopping!) so often looks around at the prices of little 'get aways' online, and as is often the case, it seems cheaper to book up as late as you possibly can. Literally last minute. Recently, I was posed the question by Cheapflights.co.uk: What would be your dream foreign holiday ...? Wow, where do I start?! There are so many countries I would love to see. So many landmarks I would like to visit. Not to mention so many beaches and pools I would love to lay by!

I'm not sure where I would love to go the most. Unfortunately, as I haven't travelled very much, I have very few places to compare in order to decide what my likes and dislikes are with different destinations. However, I know I would choose somewhere warm, and somewhere peaceful with a lively side to it that wasn't right on the doorstep. Of course somewhere child friendly too. Let's face it ... I'd just love a holiday! Anywhere!

Now, I am hoping Mr Munchkin reads this and takes heed! A family holiday is very much needed! Maybe if I leave my laptop open enough boldly displaying Cheapflights.co.uk latest offers, he might take the hint and whisk me away somewhere unexpectedly at the last minute?! Hmmm, I can dream I suppose! But I'm just saying (in case he is still reading ...!) that Cheapflights’ last minute flights page have some awesome offers! Apparently, Spain, Greece, Portugal, France, India and Orlando are amongst the top 'last minute' destinations at the moment ... Any of these will do!

So as I said at the start of this post ...

All offers VERY welcome!!!
xx
