My name is Lily-Sue, but my mummy calls me Munchkin (or 'Munch' for short!) I am 8 years old, and this is where my mummy will help me write all about all the fun things we do together. I hope you enjoy reading about the adventures of my mummy and me, Munchkin, with the occasional appearance from the siblings - Beastie and Plumlet.

Tutu Sweet - Fit for a Princess!

Tutu Sweet ... Tutu Beautiful!

A few weeks ago, mummy was lucky enough to win one of the prettiest competitions she has ever entered. When she showed me a photograph of the prize she had won, and I was so excited! This was a photo of the prettiest 'Princess Skirt' I have ever seen and it was from Tutu Sweet UK!

Beautiful Vintage style Cream Pettiskirt
When the gorgeous pettiskirt arrived, I noticed that it was accompanied by a perfectly matching vest top, complete with cream rose ruffles to compliment the tutu entirely. Mummy just said that I did not own a top that would suit the tutu, so this delightful vest would be an ideal accompaniment!

Put the wonderful pair together, and this is what we got ...

Me in my 'Princess Ballerina Dress'!
(This is my name for my special outfit, anyway!)
The skirt is made up of layer upon layer of gorgeous ruffles, making it hang in the most pretty style, and the lovely satin bow attached to the elasticated waistband completes the 'vintage' look that this tutu intends. This stretchy waistband means that it will fit me for a long time too! When I twirl around, the skirt 'flairs' out brilliantly. That is why it is my 'Ballerina' Dress!

The top is a wonderful quality. It fits just right, and as you see here, matches the pettiskirt perfectly! Mummy was right - after seeing this top, I definitely didn't have one that would have been as right as this!

How ever I stand, whatever way in which I sit, whichever way I move, the skirt hangs gracefully and holds it's elegant shape totally. I would love to wear it all the time, but mummy seems to think that it wouldn't be the best idea?! However, at least she knows that, when I do wear it, she is able to clean it easily. The skirt can be machine washed - as long as the temperature of your machine is at its lowest. Hand washing is also recommended, but this also needs to be done in cold water. Mummy was very nervous about washing it for the first time, as she was afraid the pettiskirt would alter in shape or it would affect the look of the ruffles after introducing it to the machine. But the fact is, I am 2 and a half  - my clothes don't stay spotless for long! Therefore, when the outfit emerged from the machine and had been hung on the line to drip dry, and it looked as good as new, mummy was thrilled. It even survived my cousin's 'Princess and Pirate' 4th Birthday Party. Naturally, wearing this outfit meant I was a Princess for the party, and mummy had several of the other mummies asking her where my girly ensemble was from. Of course, she made sure she told them that the whole set was from Tutu Sweet ... she even made sure they made a note of the website address in their phones!!

I do love my extra special Tutu Sweet Princess Ballerina Dress!!
