Hello!

My name is Lily-Sue, but my mummy calls me Munchkin! I am 4 years old, and this is where my mummy will help me write all about all the fun things we do together. I hope you enjoy reading about the adventures of my mummy and me, Munchkin!

George Easter Sunday Best Dressed and Easter Egg Hunt!

A couple of weeks ago, the Munchkin Patch was approached with a lovely request. We were asked to take part in an Easter Sunday Best Dressed project in which we were set the task of choosing an outfit from the Girl's Clothes section of George at Asda that would make a perfect ensemble for Easter Sunday .We didn't even have to leave the sofa for this little shopping spree, as we were to use the Asda website instead and order our chosen clothes, which was lovely as they seem to have a much wider range to choose from than they do in our local store. Now, I describe this operation as a 'task', and that is exactly what it was! And a tough one to say the least! How on Earth could we choose??! Mummy and I sat down together at the computer and started to scroll through all of the gorgeous clothing. Mummy could only smile every time I said, "Ooh, I want that one!" I did say it a number of times! We whittled it down to a favourite three outfits, and, much to his dismay, involved daddy in our big decision! We were given a budget of £20.00 to spend, which was wonderful as it gave us so many options.

We considered one of the gorgeous dresses or pretty skirts. But when we thought about it, Spring and Summer Sundays have always been about going to the park, playing in the garden, joining nanna and grandad for a family barbecue and enjoying cuddles with mummy on the sofa. This led to us settling on an outfit that would suit my usual Sunday activities. This is what we (eventually!) decided on ...

My new outfit arrived within a few days and mummy has admitted to feeling a little envious at the fact that we were able to get a 2 Piece set, pair of shoes AND a pretty cap for our £20! This makes the perfect Easter Sunday Best for me! My new wardrobe additions consist of a lovely 2 Piece Peppa Pig leggings and dress top set (£10.00), a beautiful pair of Peppa Pig shoes (£8.00) and a pretty pink 'Cherry' cap (£1.50)

As soon as the clothes arrived, mummy and I spent the afternoon at the park and in the garden. With the early days of Spring showing themselves, we wanted to see just how perfect this outfit was for our choice of 'Sunday Best'!

So, off we went to the park!

... And just as mummy thought, it was the perfect choice of clothing! Perfect for playing ball ...

... Perfect for learning to skip! ...

... And perfect for making me look beautiful!!! ...

Now for the really exciting bit where YOU join in the fun!!!

Here is your chance to get involved. I mentioned an Easter Egg Hunt in the title of this post, and this is where you, my lovely readers, can join in. Ours is one of 16 Blog Posts like this. Each of us has picked our favourite Easter Sunday Best outfit, and have also been given a secret number of colourful eggs that we have scattered around a chosen photo within our post. Your little Munchkin looks beautiful and yay to choosing something fitting for her age and not as I did a dress that was too long on Easter Sunday and had to come off before lunch as my young lady wasn't happy playing in it x
